Voted Best Consignment Shop by New Haven Register
Thank you to all of you who voted, we appreciate more than you could know!
Consignment Originals won one of the three top spots in the Best Consignment Shop category. The store in Orange — four total in Connecticut — has 10,000 square feet of vibey space where pleasant music evokes a leisurely shopping pace. A massive floor plan allows for easy movement about the space, half of which is devoted to fashion and accessories and half to display furniture and home decor.
Clothing and fine jewelry draw favor among stylish buyers, who like to come in for a vast array and everchanging stock of name brands and designer labels costing a fraction of retail.
Jackie Leathe has been working for the company since 2014 and thinks this is the longest-running consignment shop around. The family business opened in 1982 by founder Jean Thompson to deliver “value, quality, and style to socially conscious, savvy shoppers,” Leathe said.
“Consignment Originals is your destination for only the finest quality name brand and designer labels you love, and furniture and home décor for the entire family. Make more when you consign and save more when you shop,” she continued.
The business carries brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chico, Loft, and J.Crew. Shopping for furniture here is like a treasure hunt when you want to redecorate on a budget
